EOI Carlota Remfry is part of the Spanish network of official schools of foreign languages, where citizens from 14 years of age can learn languages following a study program that is regulated by the Ministry of Education and the Andalusian Department of Education. In addition, our learners can access the national certification of their language level in accordance with the levels of the European Framework of Reference. Established in Linares (a town located in the olive-oil producing province of Jaén, Andalusia) in 1991 our school has contributed for 30 years to lifelong learning of people from Linares (50,000 inhabitants) at its surrounding towns. Linares is a former mining and industrial town (Santana Motor, Suzuki) which currently focused on developing a high-tech industry. Its economy is undergoing a major transformation from motor industry to high-tech and biotechnology. Our students can learn and certificate the following languages:
